The Diocese of Speyer is resolutely opposed to sexual abuse. Abuse means violence against children, young people and adult charges and stands in contradiction to the mission and mandate of the Church, which could not be greater. The diocese consistently stands up for those affected, provides help and holds the perpetrators accountable. Link to the detailed information of the diocese of Speyer

Orange the World - Violence against women concerns us all!
The UN campaign “Orange The World” has been drawing attention to violence against women since 1991: from November 25 to December 10, Human Rights Day, the color orange is to light up symbolically. The KHG in the diocese of Speyer is taking part in the UN campaign and, together with students at some universities, is designing orange chairs and benches, which will then be positioned in prominent places in the university and equipped with information material.
