Living in the KHG

The KHG shared flat

There are 3 rooms in the KHG (Catholic University Community) for RPTU students in Landau.
So you live in a nice shared flat with students from all disciplines. Talents can be discovered and lived out: Music&art, growing lettuce and keeping your fingers crossed, cooking, sports, sleeping late...and whatever else you can think of. You can always find someone to talk to (or enjoy the peace and quiet in your room if necessary☺). It's important to us that we have a good time together, that we have fun studying together and that we get involved in KHG activities. We have an open ear for each other, sometimes start joint activities, and where necessary we also make clear announcements.

Participate

At the KHG, we are looking for a Christian spirituality that meets the concerns and needs of students and focuses on current issues.
You don't have to be "super-pious" to do this. But the community naturally thrives on people who contribute their ideas, experiences and thoughts and help shape the meetings in the KHG from time to time.

Costs and terms

Move-in dates are usually April 1 and October 1. Sometimes rooms also become available during the semester.

The period of residence is usually up to eight semesters and can be extended if necessary.
The tenancy agreements are renewed from semester to semester.
The costs are currently between € 230 and € 270 for warm rent, depending on the size of the room.
